started August 22, 2008:
up to six shows daily of Filipino language film,
achievements by Filipino
American filmmakers, and titles of interest to Filipino, Asian Pacific
Islander, and mainstream American audiences.
As of
October 23, 2008, the Philippine Cinema Showcase ended for now, and we
are completely grateful to UltraStar Cinemas, our sponsors, and our
audiences.
